So much so they came second last (SMH) and accordingly picked up the £20 bar voucher prize pipping the "Chalfont Ladies" by a single point. God knows where they would have come otherwise, not that the Porn Star Martinis had anything to do with it, oh, and the Cumberland sausage - or was their answer to the question 'which two word Latin phrase refers to a popular and ancient for of birth control? - I can't remember as they got one for me also. As for the £40 bar voucher prize first prize, "Narcot Worriers" set out with great determination and ended the evening with a very creditable 32 points as did "Onwards & Upwards". They were both however runners-up to the 34 points of "Living the Dream" who once again prevailed. They won't be with us next week as it's half-term, so "Narcot Worriers", maybe next week? In suspecting "3rd Time Lucky" were so named more for optimism than the determination referred to earlier. Luck was on their side when they competed with all the other teams to draw from the Jackpot envelopes for the £56.50 cash prize. In selecting envelope number 7, that is where it regretfully ended! The Jackpot cash prize therefore increases to £77 and rolls over to next weeks quiz on Tuesday 18th February when we do it all again.
