Face masks at the ready!

And it wasn't for the Coronavirus, it was for the flatulating dog! The poor thing is so well behaved with a delightful nature and has no idea the impact he or she has in an enclosed environment. Perhaps it's a tactic? No, I don't think so as the team he/she seemed to have the biggest impact on was the team he/she belonged to, the appropriately named "Stinky Village Idiots" who came last! This however meant that "Gracie" took the £20 bar voucher price for coming second last. As for the £40 bar voucher first prize, size was not of the essence; team size that is. First-timers "Flying Carlos" who were made up of eight team members scored a very credible and normally a winning 37 points, but it was not good enough to overcome the team of two, aptly named "Just the two of us" who managed a magnificent 39 points to take the prize. It just goes to show that size is not everything. All teams played for the opportunity to draw from the Jackpot envelopes for the £39 cash prize. Another new team, "We're under pressure", won through and in selecting envelope number 5 were congratulated ........... on winning a bag of crisps. So the Jackpot increases to £56 and rolls over to next week's quiz on Tuesday 11th February when we do it all again.
