Barry is definately not the teachers pet!

And I think it's because he likes the retribution. That said, a bit of detention with "The Teacher in Charge" isn't necessarily unappealing! She did however manage to keep control of the class, so much so that their 38 points was more than sufficient to take this evening's £40 bar voucher first prize - there's nothing like a firm hand as the thespian said to the cleric. We had three new teams this evening, "X Men", "Plan B" and "The Narcot Worriers", all of whom acquitted themselves well coming second, third and sixth respectively, but accordingly didn't feature in the £20 prize for coming second last, This prize was fought over by regulars "Chalfont Ladies" and "I'm an Idiot". Normally it would be taken for granted that the ladies would take the prize but it was the idiots on this occasion. All teams played for the Jackpot cash prize with "Rebranded to ….?" ultimately selecting from the remaining Jackpot envelopes. The bad news is they won nothing, the good news being the Jackpot cash prize increases to £39 and rolls over to next week's Quiz Night at the Jolly Farmer on Tuesday 4th February.
