However, it was very close, with fellow regulars Slartibartfast and The Chris Palmer Trio (Fire The Nuclear Weapons!) only a point behind them in joint 2nd on 36 points apiece. There was quite a gap between the leading group and the rest of the field, with the next closest teams (Les Quizzerables and The Granvilles) both a whole 7 points back on 29. The honour of coming second last was more convincingly earned, with Kaursingh took home a voucher for a bottle of wine for managing to find 17 points along the way.
