I had no idea that Drake’s first name is actually Aubrey!

At the Duchy Arms last night we learned that: Michael Jackson was the only artist to have the biggest-selling album of the year twice in the 1980s; the chemical symbol for silver is ‘Ag’; and, WHSmith started in Euston station in 1848. Together with that, we handed out a second-from-bottom bottle of wine to a team celebrating a birthday (that did feel like destiny) and some consolation sweets to teams whose scores might have won in other weeks (“Prague Castle” and “French For Mushrooms” - both doing very well on my U2 - With Or Without You lyrics question). Top prize, however, went to “85G” who delivered two halves of superb quizzing to earn the £40 bar tab. The stars did not align completely for our legal experts, “Our Drinking Team Has A Quizzing Problem”, whose guess on the number of times TikTok is used each month (800 million) was the closest but they weren’t able to select the envelop which contained the jackpot slip. Rollover for next week takes the cash available to over £110. It’s just asking to be won. Come and get it. If Drake (or “Aubrey” as he should actually be known) were around, he would definitely come and try and win. #onlytheduchyarmshastheanswer
