Pink Fury took the gold at the Draft House Chancery Lane on Tuesday night, and grabbed the £50 prize. Runners-up, and winners of the bottle of wine were 5 Norwich Street, while newbies Leave No Welshman Behind took the honours (and cans of beer) for second-to-bottom. Free drinks and their accompanying bonus points went to Squirrel Nutkins (round 1) and Leave No Welshman Behind (round 2), while Informational Fog triumphed in the creative round. Teams were challenged to come up with a new superstition for Friday 13th, and write a short verse describing its effects and how one avoids them. Amid strong (and often scatological!) competition, their timely advice about not to drink and sneeze was the favourite of the judging staff, netting them the bonus points. The bonus point for funniest wrong answer of the evening went to Queen Equizabeth Windsor, whose answer was too rude to write here but made everyone giggle! The quizmaster would also like to commend them for having a quiz-based name that she's never seen before - a feat in itself!
