This week in the Devonshire...

Sixteen teams crammed into the front half of the pub to witness Sounds of Fatness take their fourth second place in a row, losing out again by just a solitary point. And the team that won, only came here for the beer (no doubt the bottles of Little Creatures we hand out as spot prizes). Not only did they win one of those bottles of Little Creatures, they also won themselves a free drink (of their choice) and the £50 bar tab. They're unlikely to win again with all that booze down them and a team name like that to match.

In other news, one team was left 'High and Bi' as they failed to win the jackpot after a tense standoff with another team in the closest-to round. I keep saying it but obviously no one is reading these reports — don't procrastinate, speed up the choice you make. Basically, teams that hang around trying to x-ray vision the Queen are never successful. Be brave, make a choice and go in hard. It usually works. Sometimes.
