Four well matched teams played the Monday quiz at The Devonshire Arms . last night About half-way through the first half, the four teams were joined by a couple of American people who wanted to play "trivia" as quizzing is called in the States. Too late to join as a competing team but quizmaster Richard Linton gave the two USA citizens a picture sheet and an answer sheet so that they could play along just for fun. They were part of the crew from a Delta Airlines plane and were flying back to America on Tuesday but joined in and did quite well in the second half of the quiz. In the end a bottle of red wine was won by "Don Quizziote" with a score of 30 points. Why not join in the fun next Monday - we start at 8pm.
