The Tabbies sounds more like a team name for cats but at The Devonshire Arms last night, The Tabbies, a human quiz team was augmented by four very well behaved dogs! Much admired and stroked but I'm not sure if the dogs contributed anything to the team effort. Even if they did it was not enough and The Tabbies finished in second place with a creditable 31 points. The winning team last night was Leave It To Will but unless he was the oracle, other team members helped to make the winning score of 33 points. Fantastic Five won a bottle of wine for being second to last and although not winning a prize an all female team of two broke their duck and played a pub quiz, something neither had done before. They promise they will return and next time win!
