..tonight was the quiz that didn’t want to end; that’s right, tonight we had not one, but TWO tie breakers. 14 teams became 11 after a couple of early exits at the halfway mark - but never forget that it pays to stick around til the end of this quiz kids - cause the wine win is wonderfully worthwhile! First up, fighting for honour (and a bottle of wine) were William Henry vs JP’s Bitches, both in that coveted second to last place on 24 points a piece. Taking the win - and the wine - were William Henry with a ‘closest to’ answer just 40mph off the record speed of the worlds fastest fish, beating JP’s Bitches to the win by just 5mph making this one a close call!! At the other end of the table a slightly less close call in our second tie breaker of the evening. Dick Like a Needle, Fuck Like a Sewing Machine went head to head with the Piss Poor Post Grads both on 38 points a piece. This time attempting to narrow down the weight of the world’s biggest pumpkin. The disparity in guesses was significantly more marked with a difference of 1,400 pounds! The ultimate win went to the Piss Poor Post Grads for their first ever win! Let’s hope it’s the start of big things for the Post Grads! It’s always a good quiz when a long time regular team get their first win under their belts and I’m a very proud quiz mama!
