..in a fairly quiet quiz, just nine teams took to the tables this week in an attempt to knock The Lancaster Raiders off their pedestal and prevent them from achieving a triple winning streak. It was a close call, and for a minute there it looked like it could have gone to Les Quizerables but ultimately The Deep Sea Turnips took the win, bumping The Raiders back down to third place. First time quizzers - and I mean literally their first ever quiz in life, not just first time quizzing with us at The Crabtree - Liverbirds had an exciting entry into the world of trivia triumphs with a cheeky wine win for second to last place, beating Rumpy Pumpy in our tie break round!! Big congratulations to them - let’s hope the excitement will bring them our way again! To everyone else who braved the hordes of toilet roll rampagers and pasta packet pilers, thank you for quizzing with us and remember that win or lose, what matters is the joy we have along the way - and there were at least five doggos in this week so that’s more than enough joy for me!!
