While a couple of teams felt the heat early on and weren’t able to stay until the end (I say “heat”, it’s freezing, clearly the heat of competition), a very worthy winner emerged at the end of tonight’s trivia contest at The Bohemia. On their second outing here, even a two point deduction for having two too many friends couldn’t stop the well-named Win Quiz At Finchley. They took the £50 bar tab top prize with a superb winning score of 37 points, two clear of nearest challengers Odd Socks on 35, and fellow regulars Katatonia earned a third place finish with 34 points. The battle at the other end of the table was even closer, with Obama Lama Ding Dong taking home the bottle of wine for coming second-last on 27 points, a mere point ahead of the last-placed team who confusingly called themselves, erm, Second Last on 26.
