It was a case of history repeating itself tonight at The Bohemia’s weekly pub quiz, as (albeit with a more modest crowd) the same patterns from last week’s contest emerged. After a relatively low-scoring first half with not much between any of the teams playing, two teams managed a final total in the thirties and one of those teams scored their second win in a row. Comfortably Average were back to their usual number and showed their class again, taking home the £50 bar tab first prize with a score of 32 points, two ahead of 2nd placed Katatonia on 30, and Oliver’s Revenge and Pull Out Before You Quiz shares third position on 28 points each. The honour of coming second last is strangely prestigious round these parts and what a lovely surprise: after many years away from this quiz, Poker On A Tuesday made a memorable comeback by putting together a grand total of 22 points, good enough for 2nd last place and winning themselves a bottle of the house red.
