The weather in many parts of the UK has been hotter than Hawaii recently, but for the heat of competition no location can surely beat The Bohemia on a Tuesday, and this evening was no exception to that. After 40 questions, we had a tie at the top of the table, with 'The Sockrobbers' and 'Odds & Sodds' both on 35 points. So it came down to a numerical tie-breaker, and in the end 'the Sodd's were seemingly more au fait with the statistics of British beer-drinking, pipping 'the Robbers' to take the win and the £50 bar voucher. Tonight’s second-from-bottom were 'Comfortably Average', whose 30 point score would normally merit a higher finish, but their prize of a bottle of red wine definitely made up for that.
