Replacement Bus Service and Otter’s Pocket were both on 35 points, with their closest challengers being 20/20 Quizzion on 33, and Comfortably Average on 32. Therefore, tonight’s epic contest had to be decided by a numerical tiebreaker question, and, although they had never won a tiebreaker previously here, Replacement Bus Service didn’t go off the rails this time. They were closest to the correct answer and took home a richly-deserved £50 bar tab first prize. The prize for second last tonight went to pairing J&A, who picked up a consolatory bottle of white wine for scraping together 22 points.
