What a way to come back from defeat... This week, at The Bohemia, pride was victoriously restored for Oh Yes! A Mongoose! after (under a different name) they missed out on top spot last Tuesday, when they lost out in a tiebreaker to quiz stalwarts Katatonia. Tonight, they scored there first win here, and the £50 bar tab top prize was theirs. OY!AM put together magnificent winning score of 39 points, the best of a night of excellent scoring overall. Recent winners Oliver’s Revenge took second place tonight with an excellent 37 points, and Comfortably Average and Afghan Market shared 3rd place on 35. The standard was so high tonight, that even tonight’s second-last-placed prize winners can hold their heads up high: Percy’s Posse took home the consolation prize of a bottle of wine for scoring a still-very-respectable 28 points.
