The scoring after 20 questions was very close, with 14 out of the 16 competing teams separated by a mere three points. With it all to play for, it was the downsized version of Comfortably Average who ended up on top, taking home the £50 bar tab first prize with a grand total of 34 points. The victorious pair did have four teams snapping equally at their heels, as Replacement Bus Service, Percy’s Posse, Katatonia and Pull Out Before You Quiz shared 2nd place on 32 points apiece, and Saga Louts, COVID-69 and The Answers were all next closest on 30. The battle for the bottle of wine (and 2nd bottom) was tightly fought as well, with Southern Bells and Boots With The Fur locked together at the foot of table on 19 points. This triggered a quickfire tiebreaker, and Boots With The Fur were fastest on the draw, putting them in second last, and rewarding them with wine.
