As the great Ariana Grande once said "Thank U, next, I'm so effing grateful for the Tuesday night Beer Hawk pub quiz". And she was so right. U go girl.

Coming up the rear we had VALI'S VIXEN'S. Well done to Valis and his Vixens for being so venerably valorous. Next up, we had a tense tiebreaker round for the second-to-last-place bottle of wine. NATALIES ANGELS thought they were a shoo-in by guessing it would take three and a half million years to walk to Mars. Turns out it would only take a mere 4000 years to walk to Mars. Who knew! And team RAC snagged the much coveted booze with their totally plausable guess of 12000 years. Congratulations RAC on winning delicious booze on your first Beer Hawk quiz. WOOP WOOP. Then, in 4th place, and after a very strong second round, we have lovely regulars A MAN FROM CHESHIRE. Amy, Tom, Abandoner 1, Abandoner 2 - your cryptic classic novels knowledge is absolutely second to none. Always such a delight to have you and your vegan banana bread at the quiz. I adore you all. Then, in third place, we have young guns GET MILLY A DATE. Milly, I hope you got a date. Keep me posted.
Then, it was very tight at the top. Missing out on that much-lusted-after £50 bar tab by ONE POINT was brand new team TWO + SOME. Some excellent quizzing displayed by this team! VERY impressive stuff. Tom's 'thoroughfare' knowledge was particularly comprahensive. Well done. But in first place - with just the three amigos this week - were regular champions TEAM INEBRIATED. Kristian, Dave and Mark - it was tense for a while, and a thought that TWO + SOME had you for a while, but your consistent persistence paid off. Really well done you absolute clever cloggses! Congratulations on not paying for booze for yet another week.
