‘The Plimsoll Champions (& Guest)’ step all over the competition!

It was a close competition this week with a three-way tie for first place at the end of the first half, and concluding with a three-way tie in third place. ‘Wuhan Clan’ nudged ahead to second place on 31 points, but ‘The Plimsoll Champions (& Guest)’ flew clear past the rest on an impressive 35 points to take home the £58.50 cash prize (75% of all quiz entry fees). The remaining 25% goes into our rollover jackpot, which next week will be up for grabs at £64 for one lucky team in a game of chance, if they can first provide the closest answer to our numerical trivia question. This week’s second-to-last consolation prize of a bottle of wine went to ‘I’llwyne (I’ll win) Castle’ and free drinks were won by players on ‘Rock, Paper, Quizzers’ and ‘Independent Koosh Cocks’.
